Pasta with Shrimps Tomato Sauce (Updated - v2)

 

 

Preparation:

You'll only need:

  • A pan
  • A large pot

Ingredients (for 2 persons)

  • 200 g Shrimps
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • Some basil leaves
  • 150 mL whipping cream
  • 75 ml water
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp Cognac
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 250 g Pasta
  • Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Check that there is white wine in the fridge!

Peel the tomatoes, remove the seeds and cut them into small pieces (about 1 cm).Sauté with 1 Tbsp. butter for about 3 minutes in a pan, then set aside in a bowl (e.g. in the oven, together with the pasta plates, at 80℃).
Now you can possibly (depending on the variety) start with the pasta; while it's cooking you can do the rest, it's very quick.
Fry the shrimps with 2-3 chopped garlic cloves in olive oil for about 5 minutes at a low to medium heat, finally season strongly with salt and pepper.
Deglaze with 3 Tbsp. cognac, add the tomato mixture and 75 ml water. Stir in 150 ml sweet cream and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
As soon as the pasta is ready, arrange it in preheated plates, pour the sauce over it and add basil leaves and parmesan to taste.
