Hokkaido Squash Cream


 

Goes well with all kinds of fish recipes

Preparation

You'll need:

  • A medium pot
  • A blender

Ingredients (for 4 to 5 persons)

  • 1 squash, preferably a Hokkaido squash, 400-500 grams.
  • 300 mL vegetable stock
  • A good pinch of nutmeg
  • 2-3 Tbsp. Crème fraîche

Preparation

If you actually have a Hokkaido squash, you don't need to remove the gourd, one can eat it, too. If it's some other squash just take the inside. Certainly remove the seeds.
Clean the squash and cut into small pieces. Cook them in the stock until soft.
Pour everything into the blender and puree. Use Crème fraîche and nutmeg to your liking and you're done!
